Release from Huntley FPD: On Saturday, August 10, the Huntley Fire Protection District, along with the combined McHenry and Lake County Hazardous Materials Teams, will be conducting a training exercise on 4th street by Union Special. Training will last from 8:00 AM to approximately 12:00 noon, with multiple emergency vehicles in the area. Units have been instructed to keep 4th street clear for traffic, but there will be traffic cones up to help alert residents to the training. 
Residents of the area should not be alarmed by the vehicles or personnel present, this is one of many training exercises that are conducted on a regular basis throughout both counties. The district thanks the residents for their cooperation and understanding of any inconvenience during the training exercise.
